Accessing the platform and using it responsibly

These terms of use (the “Terms”) explain the requirements for accessing the Equinox Lotorael platform and the standards that apply when using it. They outline the rights, duties and responsibilities of both users and the service operator. Review them before registering, logging in or completing a transaction. By accepting them, you establish a binding agreement between the parties.

Registering an account, entering the platform, using any feature or contacting Equinox Lotorael means that you accept these Terms in full. The service is intended only for individuals aged 18 or above who have the legal capacity to use it. Minors and people unable to verify their age or capacity may not use the service, and an account may be limited, suspended or terminated where necessary.

Access may be paused or restricted temporarily for maintenance, technical updates, infrastructure improvements or incident management. Service interruptions can also arise from unusual market conditions, elevated demand or events outside our reasonable control. We take appropriate measures to support availability, but uninterrupted access cannot be promised. Features, algorithms, market information and available instruments may be added, modified or removed without creating an automatic right to compensation or a claim against Equinox Lotorael.

Platform materials—including written content, illustrations, interfaces, software, algorithms, visual assets, logos and AI-assisted analyses—are protected under copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. They belong to Equinox Lotorael or to the relevant rights holders. Unless written permission has been obtained in advance, copying, sharing, publishing, reproducing or using these materials commercially is not allowed. Unauthorised use may lead to civil or criminal proceedings.

You are required to submit accurate, complete and current details, including your identity information, contact information and payment method details. Information that is false, incomplete or deceptive may lead to account limitations or suspension, a delayed or declined withdrawal, or another proportionate measure. Personal data is processed under our privacy policy and applicable New Zealand privacy law, using suitable safeguards and providing information about how it is handled.

You remain solely responsible for all investment choices and transactions made through Equinox Lotorael, including activity involving AI-enabled tools. Equinox Lotorael supplies technical infrastructure and does not offer individual financial advice, recommendations or assurances about outcomes. Financial markets, including equities and cryptoassets, may move sharply and can cause you to lose some or all of the capital invested. Earlier performance does not predict future outcomes. Use only money that you could afford to lose without compromising your financial position.

These Terms may be updated or expanded to account for changes in regulation, technology or industry practice. Where practicable, we will give at least 14 days’ notice before an amendment becomes effective, using email, an in-platform message or a website notice. Continuing to use the service after the effective date indicates acceptance of the revised Terms. If an amendment is substantial, you may ask for your account to be closed.

Protecting users and presenting information clearly are central to our approach. We apply strong encryption, conduct routine reviews, segregate client funds and maintain comprehensive compliance controls, including know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) processes. Orders and transactions are logged in a traceable, verifiable format. Our aim is to maintain a transparent, balanced and understandable framework for dealing with users.
